Amagi Media Labs reported consolidated net profit of Rs 74.8 crore for Q2 FY27, up from about Rs 2.5 crore a year earlier, Inc42 reported on 5 November 2026. Operating revenue rose 27% to Rs 475.8 crore from Rs 374.8 crore, while total expenses rose about 9% to Rs 419.3 crore. Sequentially, profit more than doubled from Rs 33.9 crore and revenue rose about 9% from Rs 436.9 crore.

Amagi sells cloud software that helps media companies produce, distribute and monetise television and streaming channels. Business Upturn's read of the same quarter put revenue near Rs 476 crore and net profit near Rs 75 crore, and said EBITDA turned positive at about Rs 64 crore after a year-ago EBITDA loss. Inc42 added that the board cleared Bhaskar Ghosh as an additional independent director and promoter CTO Srividhya Srinivasan as a whole-time director while she keeps the CTO role.

The gap between faster revenue and slower expense growth is the operating-leverage story investors watch in Indian SaaS. Two independent outlets, Inc42 and Business Upturn, align on the headline profit and revenue swing. Sustainability still depends on recurring cloud bookings and client expansion, which these quarterly figures alone do not break out.
