We want every fact on this site to be right. Originals and explainers are written by the bharat.digital desk and list their sources. Headlines and summaries of other outlets' stories are quoted as published and link to the original, so if the error is in that report, please tell the outlet too.
How to report an error
Email us from the contact page with the page link, what is wrong and, if you can, a source that shows the correct fact.
What we do
- We review each report against the original sources. This covers Originals, explainers, the startup and funding tracker, and the numbers and charts, which we check against the official publication they come from.
- If a correction is needed, we fix the page and add a dated note saying what changed.
- Updates that add new information, rather than fix an error, are also dated on the page.
- Takedown and privacy requests sent through the contact page are reviewed the same way, against the sources.
