AdaniConneX shops a $1.5 Bn offshore loan as Adani plans $100 Bn digital infra
Bloomberg-sourced reports, carried by Economic Times and Mint, say the Adani and EdgeConneX joint venture is talking to global banks about five to seven year funding for India data centres. Terms are not final.

AdaniConneX, the 50:50 joint venture between Adani Enterprises and EdgeConneX, is in talks with international lenders for an offshore facility of about $1.5 billion to fund data centre expansion, Bloomberg reported on 3 November 2026, with Economic Times and Mint carrying the same sourcing. Named banks in the discussions include DBS, First Abu Dhabi Bank, Mitsubishi UFJ, Natixis, ING and Societe Generale. Pricing and final terms are not agreed. The tenor under discussion is about five to seven years.
The borrowing sits inside a larger Adani Group plan to invest about $100 billion in data centres and other digital infrastructure by 2035, the same reports said. AdaniConneX earlier secured an $800 million data centre loan with an 18-month duration. Bloomberg's India capacity figures, cited across the coverage, put installed data centre capacity near 1.57 gigawatts in August 2026, with a government outlook near 8 gigawatts by 2030 and sector investment potential near $200 billion over seven to eight years. Reliance has separately spoken of large AI-related infrastructure spend.
Mint also noted capacity partnerships around AdaniConneX sites, including CoreWeave plans tied to Navi Mumbai and OneQode capacity talks in Chennai. Those are commercial announcements around the same campus push, not proof the $1.5 billion loan has closed. Until a signed facility appears, the story is a reported fundraising conversation about AI-ready power and racks in India, not a completed financing.
