Zaperon raises Rs 7 crore seed led by Inflection Point Ventures
The Delhi cybersecurity startup, co-founded in 2021 by Vineet Gupta and Sachin Aggarwal, is building a unified platform for identity security, data security and AI governance.

Delhi-based cybersecurity startup Zaperon has raised Rs 7 crore in a seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV), Entrackr and ET Entrepreneur reported on October 1, 2026. The company said it will use the funds to advance product capabilities, launch enterprise-grade AI security frameworks, and expand in India and the United States.
Co-founded in 2021 by Vineet Gupta and Sachin Aggarwal, Zaperon positions itself as a unified cybersecurity platform for human and non-human identities. Entrackr and ET Entrepreneur describe the product as combining identity security, data security and AI governance so enterprises can control how users, applications and AI agents access sensitive data and cloud infrastructure through a single console, aiming to replace fragmented controls with identity- and context-aware policies.
ET Entrepreneur quoted Gupta, co-founder and CEO, saying the vision is a leading unified platform that protects enterprises from data breaches involving both human and non-human identities. The same report quoted IPV's Minal Shah on the need to secure identities, access and data as companies move from experimenting with AI to deploying AI agents in critical workflows. Both outlets said Zaperon's enterprise clients span banking and financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, technology and government, without naming individual customers in those reports.
