Peppermint Robotics raises Rs 100 Cr Pre-Series B to scale cleaning and material handling robots
pi Ventures and Crane Venture Partners lead a primary plus secondary round as the Pune and Austin company plans a North America assembly line and cleanroom robot push.

Pune based Peppermint Robotics has raised Rs 100 crore (about $10.5 million) in a Pre-Series B round led by pi Ventures and Crane Venture Partners, with Asiana Fund also participating, Entrackr, ETtech, YourStory and Inc42 reported on November 4, 2026. The company and the outlets said the round mixes primary capital and secondary share sales. Founder and CEO Runal Dahiwade told Inc42 that the bulk of the money is primary capital. ETtech said Peppermint has now raised about Rs 150 crore in total.
Peppermint builds autonomous robots for commercial floor cleaning and material transport. ETtech named co-founders Runal Dahiwade, Nityanand Prabhutendolkar and Miraj C Vora, who started the company in 2019. Deployments cover factories, hospitals, airports, malls, warehouses, hotels and universities, and Entrackr said its cleanroom robots have passed qualification testing in an EU GMP Grade cleanroom. The company develops hardware, software and perception in house, using computer vision and LiDAR, and also offers offline machines for security sensitive sites.
Growth metrics in the announcements are sharp. Peppermint said it doubled revenue last year and grew nearly sixfold between FY24 and FY26, after a Rs 34 crore Series A in April 2025. It now operates in nine countries, with the United States as its largest market, followed by India and western Europe, Dahiwade told ETtech. The US entry dated to 2024, according to coverage that traced the international expansion.
Primary proceeds are earmarked for five areas: research and engineering for next generation robots, manufacturing capacity in Pune, a North America assembly line in the coming months, business development in the US, Asia and Europe, and senior hiring. Peppermint also plans to widen its floor cleaning and material handling lineup and advance its CR cleanroom robotics line. The round is a scale bet on robots that do repetitive facility work in India and overseas, not a lab demo.
