Tracxn Technologies reported operating revenue of Rs 21.3 crore for Q2 FY27, almost unchanged from Rs 21.25 crore a year earlier, according to its NSE statements as reported by Entrackr and Inc42 on 4 November 2026. Net loss narrowed about 26% to Rs 4.1 crore from Rs 5.6 crore. Inc42 noted the improvement came from tax: the company booked a Rs 52 lakh tax credit this quarter against a Rs 6.2 crore charge a year ago, and before tax it swung to a Rs 4.6 crore loss from a small profit.

Costs are the pressure point. Entrackr reported total expenses up 25% to Rs 27.32 crore, with employee benefits at Rs 23.33 crore making up about 85% of spending. Inc42 reported that Tracxn plans to grow its deal-closing sales team from 34 people in December 2025 to about 60 by December 2026, and had filled 56 of those positions by September.

The growth is coming from home. Inc42 reported that India made up 53% of quarterly revenue, with domestic revenue up 6.9% sequentially to Rs 11.3 crore, while international revenue fell 4.8% to Rs 10 crore. Customer accounts rose 13% year on year to 2,419 and users rose 16% to 6,854.

Tracxn is also rebuilding its product around AI. Per Inc42, paid users can now reach its company intelligence through Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectors inside ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Cursor, alongside a plain-English AI assistant and ready-made investor agents for due diligence, benchmarking, sector research and startup scouting. The company says it expects cost growth to slow to low single digits after this investment phase, helped by AI cutting data production costs, and that this should return it to profit. Whether AI-led access lifts flat subscription revenue is the test for the coming quarters.
