QNu Labs, a Bengaluru based quantum security company, has been onboarded by Netpoleon India, a value added cybersecurity distributor, in a partnership announced on October 30. The deal gives QNu Labs access to Netpoleon's network of channel partners and system integrators, and the two companies say they will target banking and financial services, government, defence, telecommunications and critical infrastructure, according to the announcement carried by YourStory, The Quantum Insider and Electronics Era.

The product at the centre of the deal is QShield 2.0, which QNu Labs launched on September 19 at its tenth anniversary event in Bengaluru. The company describes it as a crypto agility platform that helps an organisation find where it uses cryptography, score that exposure against quantum and classical risk, and manage keys, certificates and policy as algorithms change. The partnership announcement lists its components as crypto risk profiling, crypto operations and management, crypto policy and governance, and an AI agent for security decisions.

The pitch is timing. QNu Labs points to a February 2026 task force report under the Department of Science and Technology's National Quantum Mission, which recommended that critical infrastructure sectors begin formal post quantum cryptography implementation by 2027. Its argument is that most organisations cannot yet produce an accurate inventory of their own cryptography, which is the first step in any migration.

QNu Labs also says it has deployed quantum key distribution in a live defence network and demonstrated free space quantum key distribution over 5.56 km. "Quantum-safe readiness is becoming a strategic business imperative, not merely a technology consideration," Rahil Patel, the company's chief growth officer, said in the announcement. The companies did not disclose commercial terms, customer names or revenue targets for the partnership.
