C.E. Info Systems, the company behind MapmyIndia and its Mappls apps, reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 131.7 crore for Q2 FY27, up 15.8% from Rs 113.8 crore a year earlier, according to its results press release filed with the NSE on 4 November 2026. EBITDA rose 60.1% to Rs 45 crore, lifting the margin to 34.1% from 24.7%, and profit after tax rose 90.6% to Rs 35.3 crore. The company reported cash and investments of Rs 730.3 crore.

Inc42 reported the same Rs 35.3 crore profit and noted that it fell 29.1% from Rs 49.7 crore in the preceding quarter, while revenue slipped 5.7% sequentially from Rs 139.7 crore. Entrackr, reading the NSE statements, put profit before the share of associate and joint venture losses at Rs 37.52 crore and reported that hardware device sales more than doubled to Rs 33 crore, while map data and related services stayed near Rs 99 crore.

In the press release, chairman and managing director Rakesh Verma said the automotive vertical grew 51.9% year on year in the quarter and enterprise grew 44.1%. For the first half, the company said map-led revenue grew 8.9% to Rs 175.3 crore and IoT-led revenue grew 29.1% to Rs 96.2 crore, and that it is building AI and machine learning into its mapping, navigation, telematics and analytics platforms.

MapmyIndia sells digital map data, location APIs, geospatial software and connected-vehicle devices to automakers, enterprises and government agencies, which makes it one of India's home-grown alternatives to global mapping platforms. The open question is the topline: growth stayed in the mid teens while the profit jump leaned on margin recovery and a soft year-ago base, so the second half will show whether the order book the company points to turns into faster revenue.
