CopperPilot raises $390K for an AI agent that turns plain English into circuit board designs
Neon Fund led the pre-seed round as the Bengaluru and Houston startup opened Epsilon, the first version of its hardware design agent, to engineers.

CopperPilot, a startup building an AI agent for electronics hardware design, has raised $390,000 in a pre-seed round led by Neon Fund, with US-based angel investors joining. Alongside the round, announced on October 27, it opened version 1 of its design agent, codenamed Epsilon, to hardware engineers.
The agent takes a plain-language description of a board and works toward a manufacturing-ready design: reading datasheets, selecting components, drawing schematics, placing and routing the board and checking its own output for electrical and design-rule errors. Rather than asking engineers to move to a new tool, it works inside the ones they already use. It supports KiCad, Altium and LTspice, and plugs into AI coding agents including Claude Code, Cursor and Codex.
The company was founded in October 2025 by Aditya NG, who is CEO, Anish Harsha, who is COO, and Mohit Bagur, who runs business operations. EE Times reports that it has dual headquarters in Bengaluru and Houston. CopperPilot says weekly active users have grown 25 times since August 2026 and that more than 6,000 design tasks have run on the platform, with paying customers in the US, the UK and Europe. It has not disclosed revenue or how many users pay.
It sells on a software subscription model, with a free starter tier, paid individual plans and team and enterprise plans. The new money will go into product research and engineering to make the agent faster and more reliable, and into hiring engineers. Neon Fund, whose third fund of $25 Mn backs AI-led B2B software, counts CloudSEK, SpotDraft and Astra Security in its portfolio.
