Pine Labs pairs with Stripe so Singapore retailers run online and store payments as one
From November 2026, eligible merchants get Stripe for web checkout and Pine Labs terminals in store, with instalments, loyalty and a single transaction view, and a stated 2027 Southeast Asia expansion.

Pine Labs and Stripe on November 4, 2026 announced a unified commerce solution for eligible retailers in Singapore that puts online and in store payments on one platform. Pine Labs' own release, Inc42 and Tech in Asia report the same structure: Stripe handles online payments, Pine Labs terminals handle card acceptance in stores, and merchants see one consolidated transaction view. Rollout starts in November 2026, with expansion to other Southeast Asian markets planned for 2027.
The pitch targets retailers that today stitch together one vendor for the website, another for stores and more for instalments and analytics. Beyond acceptance, merchants gain Pine Labs commerce tools including multi issuer instalment plans, loyalty linked payments, pay by points, merchant funded promotions and digital marketing tools, plus credit card, QR and contactless acceptance across Pine Labs terminal types, according to the company release and Inc42.
B Amrish Rau, CEO of Pine Labs, said retailers no longer treat ecommerce and physical stores as separate channels and expect a connected view of payments and engagement. The companies plan to showcase the offer at Singapore Fintech Festival 2026. Tech in Asia notes the Stripe tie up builds on Pine Labs' Singapore unified payments platform launch in October 2026 and on the Fave franchise in Southeast Asia.
This is a commercial partnership announcement, not a merger. No equity stake, fee schedule or named launch merchants were disclosed in the materials reviewed. For Indian readers, the story matters because a listed Indian merchant commerce company is packaging its terminal and engagement stack with a global online payments rail for an overseas market first.
