OBSESS raises about Rs 3 Cr angel round to build a connected fitness and sports platform
The Noida startup is stitching gym discovery, venue booking, trainer tools and event ticketing into one digital marketplace, with AI personalisation on the roadmap.

Noida based fitness and sports technology startup OBSESS has raised about Rs 3 crore in an angel funding round, Entrackr reported on November 2, 2026. ET Entrepreneur on November 3 confirmed the same investor set without disclosing the amount: Centricity co founder Pushpendra Singh, angel investor Amitt Goel and Freecultr co founder Harshit Vij. Both outlets said the capital will go into product and technology work, expanding the network of gyms, trainers and sports venues, user acquisition and partnerships.
Founded in 2026 by Tushar Sharma and Yash Kumar and launched around March, OBSESS is building an integrated digital marketplace for India's fragmented fitness and sports industry. Entrackr described partner surfaces that include Obsess Play for discovering and booking sports venues with Obsess Coins rewards, Obsess Gym for digital and operational tools for gym operators, and Obsess Event for ticketing and participant management for marathons and cycling events.
ET Entrepreneur said the company is also working on AI driven features for workout planning, nutrition recommendations and personalisation, and framed the product as a way for consumers to reach gyms, trainers, venues, fitness products and wellness services without hopping across disconnected apps. The write up sticks to what Entrackr and ET Entrepreneur reported; neither outlet published valuation or ownership details for the angel cheque.
