Capillary Technologies returns to profit with Rs 22 Cr in Q2 FY27 as revenue jumps 51% after its fraud hit
The Bengaluru loyalty and CRM software firm bounced back from a Q1 loss caused by a cyber-enabled banking fraud at its Czech subsidiary.

Capillary Technologies, the Bengaluru-based maker of loyalty and customer engagement software, reported a consolidated net profit of about Rs 22 Cr for the September quarter of FY27 (Q2 FY27), compared with roughly Rs 0.3 Cr a year earlier, Entrackr and Inc42 reported from its stock exchange filings. Revenue from operations rose about 51% to Rs 271 Cr from Rs 179 Cr.
The result is a rebound. In the June quarter the company posted a net loss of about Rs 9.5 Cr after an exceptional charge of Rs 33.4 Cr linked to a cyber-enabled banking fraud at its subsidiary in the Czech Republic. Sequentially, operating revenue grew about 5.5% from Rs 256.6 Cr in Q1. Inc42 noted that pre-tax profit was Rs 19.9 Cr and that a net tax credit of about Rs 2 Cr lifted the final number above it.
Capillary sells software as a subscription, and subscriptions made up 95% of operating revenue in the quarter, with installation and campaign services making up the rest. Employee benefits remained the biggest cost, up 57% year on year to Rs 134 Cr, while software and server charges were Rs 42 Cr, Entrackr said.
Founded in 2008 by Aneesh Reddy, Krishna Mehra and Ajay Modani, Capillary says it serves more than 465 brands across 53 countries, with clients that include Tata Digital, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail and Abbott Laboratories. Its shares were trading around Rs 504 on the day of the results, valuing the company at roughly Rs 4,023 Cr, according to Entrackr.
